Last night I watched one of my favorite movies, The Land Before Time. This movie has very sad moments and always makes me cry, but I think there are a lot of simple truths in it. When Littlefoot is feeling sad and lonely after the death of his mother, he runs into the dinosaur "Old" Rooter. After Rooter learns about Littlefoot's mom, Littlefoot asks him, "What'll I do? I miss her so much."
Rooter answers,
"And you’ll always miss her. But she’ll always be with you, as long as you remember the things she taught you. In a way, you’ll never be apart, for you’re still a part of each other."
I like that.
And I love and miss my dad.
