Hybernation

I'm not a winter person. Once the holidays are over, the cold becomes nearly unbearable. I start fantasizing about white, sandy beaches, about how my skin holds in the sun's warmth at the end of a summer day, about sweet, juicy watermelon. I want to wear flip flops or no shoes at all and let my piggies run free. I want to eat outside and wear my swimsuit all day long and read books by the pool.

I miss being warm.

While my daydreams of summer remain just that--daydreams--I have
